Description
Here Sits This Barn by Roberta Byram. I am drawn to barns. I did not grow up o a farm and I am really a city girl at heart, but barns always get my attention when driving through the country. I had to stop and photograph this barn. I love the angles and the shape. I noticed the windows are boarded shut. The siding is coming off. The tin roof looks pretty good. I wonder how this barn was used and all the activity that took place in it over the years. I love that the fence is still there and the one tree. I photographed this in the Virginia Mountains as I was exploring small mountain towns and I am happy that I have it to remind me of a lifestyle that was healthy self sufficient.
