Description
Day 263/365. Challenge/Journal. Architecture in Small Town America. In Canton Ohio, I ventured into Centennial Plaza where people were watching the Browns football game in an open amphitheater. I looked up and noticed that it was a cloudy day through the architectural details. I was challenged to a photo trip to small town America to photograph architecture. I was also challenged to “look up”. So, I parked my car, walked with my camera and looked up. I took 8 days, 2500 miles, and visited Charleston WVA., Canton Ohio, Akron Ohio, Steubenville Ohio, Weirton WVA, Scio Ohio, and Wytheville Va. It is amazing what you see when you look up. Besides the architecture, I also included murals, lights, trees, signs.
