Description
Sea Oat by Roberta Byram. I am fascinated by sea oats. They are thin and do not look very strong; and yet, they hold the beach in place when the water overtakes it. The water is very strong and such a force, but the sea oats can hold onto the sand and keep it in place. I know that the strength is in the roots and the part we see is not much to look at...there is no color to speak of. And yet, it is a sign of promise that the sand will stay and the strength is there. Others do not always see our strengths especially when there is not much to see on the outside. but we all have strengths of some kind and just because we can not see them on the outside; it would be a mistake to think they aren't there!
I used Photoshop for the background color.
