Description
The Captain by Roberta Byram. The Captain of the boat that I was cruising on down the Hudson River in New York, was kind and gracious. He smiled for all our pictures and kept the boat going. He was well experienced and knew the river so well! I made up stories about him in my mind as he so competently captained the boat. I wondered if he had been in the Navy or spent a lifetime on the sea and where had he been? Perhaps to Asia, around the world or just in the Hudson River area? The possibilities are endless....where do you think this captain may have been?
