The Magic Forest by Roberta Byram. I was tempted to walk into this magic forest by myself in the mountains of Virginia. I stopped and considered it for quite a while. It was calling to me. What was just beyond that pathway? It was otherworldly and enticing. It was peaceful and quiet and offered a sense of rest. I wanted to know what it was like once inside and no human sound was heard. I longed to walk into the magic of it all. After much contemplation, I decided a bear might be included in this magical forest and it would not be so peaceful to be walking in there alone. However; this image still calls to me.
