Day 262/365. Challenge/Journal Diary. Architecture in Small Town America. In this image, I found three buildings side by side with beautiful architecture…all three different, but they work so well side by side! Notice the three silos peaking above in Orrville Ohio! I was challenged to a photo trip to small town America to photograph architecture. I was also challenged to “look up”. So, I parked my car, walked with my camera and looked up. I took 8 days, 2500 miles, and visited Charleston WVA., Canton Ohio, Akron Ohio, Steubenville Ohio, Weirton WVA, Scio Ohio, and Wytheville Va. It is amazing what you see when you look up. I love old downtown images. I live near Port Huron, Michigan and have several images from there, but unfortunately, the old downtown where I lived burned down in the early 90s. so we have a strip mall down there.
