Description
Day 269/365. Challenge/Journal. The Jefferson County Ohio War Memorial building is straight and tall and one feels the strength in it. It is solid and I felt a sense of awe photographing it. I was challenged to a photo trip to small town America to photograph architecture. I was also challenged to “look up”. So, I parked my car, walked with my camera and looked up. I took 8 days, 2500 miles, and visited Charleston WVA., Canton Ohio, Akron Ohio, Steubenville Ohio, Weirton WVA, Scio Ohio, and Wytheville Va. It is amazing what you see when you look up. Besides the architecture, I also included murals, lights, trees, signs.
